Tokyo Design Studio and New Balance are pushing boundaries once again with the MT10T. As we move toward slip-on sneakers, New Balance is not staying behind… Meet the MT10T, the ultimate summer shoe.
The MT10T is a modern reinterpretation of the original NB MT10 Minimus trail runner, a shoe that broke ground over a decade ago for its barefoot-inspired performance. Now, it returns with a sleek, minimalist twist that speaks to both fashion enthusiasts and outdoor explorers.
Available in two colourways: Black with dockside and Angora with moonbeam, making them versatile for any outfit. The upper appears to be a neoprene with added rubber overlays for texture and additional flair. A sturdy and textured outsole from Vibram adds quality and grip to the design.
This is not the first time we have seen the NB laceless slip on, we got a glimpse of the MT10T with Aimé Leon Dore earlier this 2025. This time, Tokyo Design Studio and New Balance have reimagined the model in a beautiful and minimalistic style.
Tokyo Design Studio has collaborated with NB before; their most notable creation is the ripple-soled 574, a sophisticated twist on New Balance’s classic silhouette that merges traditional style with avant-garde aesthetics.
The New Balance x Tokyo Design Studio will be dropping in two colourways on June 5, 2025, exclusively on the New Balance Official website.
In the meantime, be sure to keep an eye on the Drop Date release calendar for more updates and releases coming soon.
