Providing a look that’s versatile yet dynamic, the New Balance 1000 adopts a ‘Multi-Colour’ flair.
Returning from the depths of the Boston-based labels archives (circa ‘00s, if we’re being specific), the New Balance 1000 has been met to an incredible reception. Enduring dynamic collaborations with the likes of Aimé Leon Dore and Joe Freshgoods, the y2k silhouette is truly taking the streetwear scene by storm. Now, bringing an entirely fresh persona to the stealthy kicks, the 1000 dons a striking palette that contrasts vibrant hues. Let’s get into the details!
Utilising a black breathable mesh base as the canvas, this playful iteration expresses a spectrum of vibrant shades across the exterior. A gradient of orange, red and purple seamlessly glides across lateral to medial sidewalls, whilst stitched green accents highlight the intricacy of the construction. Continuing the theme of purple, tonal touches grace the toe box and branding, also reflected within the heel.
Illuminating the back sector of the shoe, a yellow tone keeps things bright, completing the distinctive contrast that runs throughout the design. Letting the colour-blocking speak for itself, the textiles boast leather and mesh. Still maintaining a versatile flair, this shoe is ideal for a minimalist look with an edge.
Despite being available now in China, there’s no confirmation of when the New Balance 1000 ‘Multi-Colour’ (M1000TP) will drop globally. Stay locked to our socials @thedropdate, for the latest updates and sneaker news! In the meantime, shop the latest from New Balance via the banner below…
