Long-standing players in the game of collaboration, NEIGHBOURHOOD and adidas are honouring their iconic heritage with ‘Ink Black’ Superstar.

Kicking off their partnership back in 2005, the Three-Stripes and Tokyo-based brand have well and truly earned the title of a force to be reckoned with. Delivering hits like the Superstar 80s, a dynamic collab with Clot, and more recently teased ‘Cement Grey’, it’s very clear that this alliance can stand the test of time, delivering banger after banger. 

And now, the duo are honouring their lineage by taking it right back to the beginning, when a special Superstar made waves for the silhouette’s 35th anniversary. Despite only releasing 300 pairs at the time, the legacy of these kicks went way beyond numbers, and now the duo are running it right back.

Staying true to its DNA, this collaborative Superstar boasts a black leather upper, highlighted with contrast stitching throughout the exterior. Hits of suede enter at the Three-Stripes and heel, situated alongside NEIGHBOURHOOD’s traditional skull and sword iconography. Made complete with an off-white midsole and outer that invites a clean juxtaposition – don’t lack on copping a slice of sneaker history.
