The Karhu Trampas SS21 Capsule Collection Offers a Fresh Take on Modern Lifestyle Essentials

The KARHU TRAMPAS SS21 CAPSULE COLLECTION brings back a classic silhouette from the Finnish brand’s archives, accompanied by an all-new capsule collection of premium apparel and accessories.

Karhu’s journey to becoming one of the great sportswear brands is impressive. With its focus on athletics and the great outdoors, the name Karhu, which translates as ‘bear’ in Finnish, has become synonymous with expertise, craftsmanship and ingenuity. For this new collection, Karhu reintroduces the Trampas model from the 1960s: one of the first shoes designed specifically for training, rather than competitive athletics. Finland’s Olympic athletes championed the Trampas as the new standard in footwear design while paving the way for its transition to a more lifestyle-oriented silhouette. After a successful re-introduction in 2019 via popular collaboration projects with Amsterdam-based skate label Pop Trading Company and Seattle-based retailer LIKELIHOOD, the Karhu Trampas returns with four new iterations of the shoe alongside a capsule collection of apparel. Heavyweight raglan sleeve crew neck sweats, shorts and classic coach jackets feature alongside core logo short sleeve t-shirts crew socks, unstructured wool caps, and a handy tote bag.
