Jordan Brand Unveils High ’85 Samples of All Original Air Jordan 1

To celebrate the iconic Air Jordan 1’s 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand has done something extraordinary: they’ve recreated High ’85 samples of every original colorway from the sneaker’s debut in 1985.

A Tribute to the Originals

Back in 1985, sixteen distinct Air Jordan 1 High colourways hit the market, or eighteen if you include the lesser-known AJKO versions. Now, the first time, fans can see what every original colourway looks like in the High ’85 cut: a silhouette that closely replicates the original shape and details of the first release, and is usually reserved for limited-edition drops.

So far, Jordan Brand has released only four High ’85s: Neutral Grey, Black/White, Metallic Burgundy, and Bred.

DJ Chase B showed the High ’85 Royal on Instagram in late 2024. In March, Julian Gaines revealed the Chicago pair. More recently, Hiroshi Fujiwara wore the UNC colorway in public.

The Drop?
