JJJJound x Vans | It couldn’t be more simple if it tried

JJJJound x Vans is back for another collaboration that might as well be branded ‘the visual definition of simple yet effective’. Following in the footsteps of JJJJound’s previous shoe collaborations, the Vans Sk8-Hi, Authentic and Slip-On get a minimalistic makeover that couldn’t be more understated if it tried.

The three Vans classics have endured a streamlined refashioning, featuring a refined colourway of white and beige. A solid framework of organic cotton canvas and supple suede helps to provide a soft dimensional style, versatile enough to be worn casually or within a suave setting. Unofficial images of the capsule were so laid back that they didn’t even feature JJJJound branding, but don’t panic, this has since been amended within official images released by Vans. The Montreal-based agency’s logo is indeed embellished on a woven beige label, albeit subtle and discreet.
