It’s Coming Home: Palace and Nike Present ‘The Three Lions’ World Cup Capsule

It is official! We have been waiting for this, and in June 2026 we can finally get our hands on it. Say hello to “The Three Lions by Palace” capsule collection.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup just around the corner, Nike and London’s very own skate legends, Palace, have officially joined forces, and this isn’t just another predictable merch drop, of course. Dropping as part of Nike’s innovative x2 series, which brings federations, creative streetwear collaborators, and grassroots communities together, we think this collection serves as a proper love letter to English football culture.

The crown jewel of the collection is, of course, the pre-match shirt. Stepping away from traditional, plain training kits, Palace has delivered a different design featuring a dark, complex greyscale all-over graphic inspired by traditional stained-glass artwork of St. George. Complete with a proper polo collar, the Three Lions crest sits proudly on the chest, paired with co-branded Palace-Nike emblems.

Did you know? The England squad will actually step out onto the pitch wearing special editions of these pre-match tops during tournament warm-up matches on June 6 and 10.

But the collection spans way beyond the pitch. The lifestyle side of the capsule expands into clean, minimalistic track jackets, track pants, and anthem jackets rendered in lightweight woven fabrics with co-branded patches. Standout aesthetic elements include silver anthem zip-up jackets, tonal grey drill tops with striking infrared accents, and a solo Swoosh tracksuit.

Another heavy-hitter of the lifestyle offering is a premium leather and wool varsity jacket emblazoned with bold Palace typography and an enlarged Three Lions motif stitched across the back. Everyday apparel like T-shirts and a black leather iteration of the Nike Cryoshot sneaker complete the product lineup.

More than Style:

To anchor the launch, Palace did what they do best and dropped an absolutely brilliant, irreverent campaign film. Starring England legends Wayne Rooney and Jill Scott alongside a cast of local fans, the film sees Wazza delivering a dramatic Shakespeare recital while scenes skip through the history of English football culture all the way back to Neolithic times, revealing that Stonehenge was actually a primitive set of goalposts all along.

Importantly, the collection carries a bit of heart too. A core pillar of this collection is its dedication to social impact. To highlight this mission, it prominently features the emblem of Football Beyond Borders (FBB), a long-term partner of Nike and the FA that works daily to use football as a tool for education and social inclusion for young people across the UK.

For the co-founders of Palace, Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis, the collaboration represents a literal childhood dream come true. Growing up in London, they viewed the kickoff of major football tournaments as massive cultural moments, making an official partnership with the England team an ultimate creative milestone.

Keen to cop? Mark your calendars. ‘The Three Lions by Palace’ is set to drop exclusively via Palace Skateboards’ physical and online stores on Friday, 12 June 2026.

If you miss out on the initial hype, Nike will be rolling out a wider global release via the SNKRS app, select retailers, as well as the official England Shop on Tuesday, 16 June 2026.
