It looks like one of the most sought-after kicks from back in the day is about to make a comeback in 2024 – we’re talking about none other than the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Grand Piano’. Remember back in ’09 when this beauty dropped exclusively at PHANTACi in Taiwan? We only have the founders of the store, Ric and Jay Chou, to thank for this nostalgic design that’s returning 15 years later. Let’s take a look!

A Closer Look at the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Grand Piano’ (HJ3966-110)…

With its shiny black and gold patent leather, inspired by the grandeur of a piano, this sneaker was an instant hit in it’s day. Only 400 pairs hit the shelves, making it a hot commodity for sneaker connoisseurs. And get this – you can spot a size 44 on StockX for £1,057.

Now, let’s fast forward to 2024. The design stays true to its roots, flaunting the same eye-catching colours and intricate details that made it a hit back in the day. But, here’s the plot twist – the original PHANTACi branding seems to have taken a backseat, making way for ‘Piano’ dubraes.

The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Grand Piano’ will start dropping at PHANTACi on 27TH APRIL, and 5TH MAY 2024 on SNKRS.
