Teaming up with the iconic East London Gem, Mangal II, END. and PUMA debut a limited-edition version of the timeless Suede silhouette, celebrating the restaurant’s 30th anniversary.

Honouring the legacy of a Turkish institution that has become a cornerstone of London’s vibrant food scene, this unique collaboration effortlessly marries together the worlds of fashion, cuisine and culture.

Mangal II (established by Ali Dirik in 1994), has been delighting Londoners with authentic Turkish cuisine for three decades. Its influence grew even stronger in 2020, when Ali’s sons, Ferhat and Sertaç, took over the family business, modernising its approach while staying true to its rich roots. Celebrating not only the restaurant’s history but also the family’s journey, the partnership champions the beauty of ancestry.

To mark this milestone, END. and PUMA accompanied Ferhat and Sertaç on a journey back to their ancestral homeland of Anatolia, Türkiye. Offering the brothers the opportunity to reconnect with their heritage and draw inspiration from the region’s rich culinary traditions, the trip to Anatolia is beautifully captured in the campaign imagery.

It goes without saying that the design of the END. x PUMA x Mangal II Suede reflects the restaurant’s unmistakable identity. Vibrantly expressing Mangal II’s signature royal blue suede, inspired by the colors of the Clyde model, gold foil detailing nods to the restaurant’s founding year. Additional detailing showcases the restaurant’s hallmark and the number “94” on the heel, nodding to its founding year. Co-branding on the tongue and insole adds layers of storytelling, making this sneaker a true collector’s piece.

The limited-edition END x PUMA x Mangal II Suede is live on END. Launches from FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER 2024, before being available to buy on FRIDAY 6TH DECEMBER. Only 300 pairs will be available, so if you’re wanting to cop – be quick!
