COMME des GARÇONS x Nike ACG | On track for SS24

Get ready for COMME des GARÇONS x Nike ACG 2.0 – the latest lovechild of CDG and Nike, long-standing contenders in the game of influential collaborations. It comes as no surprise that the pairing are rejoining forces to give us a fashion-forward adaptation of the Nike ACG, utilising CDG’s Homme Plus sub-label which draws focus on deconstruction and asymmetry. These dynamic kicks may well just be the hot cake of 2024.

Taking on a form that somewhat resembles the likes of the Nike ACG Terra Boot & Nike ACG Mountain Fly, our first look at the model comes fresh off the runway at CDGHP SS24 show during Paris Fashion Week. Upon close inspection, we can see that the sneaker sports a black & white monochrome palette featuring an elongated tongue, adaptable laces as well a sophisticated sole build. These are design contrasts that we’re not used to seeing within conventional ACG footwear – and we’re excited about it! 

Including an amplified mudguard and almost-spikey outsole, this model is ideal for a multitude of terrains (and by multitude we actually mean the most unproblematic, smooth-sailing surface you could possibly find – perhaps a runway?). This attractive sneaker will arrive as the second COMME des GARÇONS x Nike ACG collab, following the release of the Nike Air Mowabb back in 2018.
