Introducing the Nike SB Blazer
The Nike SB Blazer was designed by professional skateboard Lance Mountain and inspired by the Nike Blazer basketball silhouette.
A re-imagining of the 70's classic, the Nike SB Blazer first released in 2005, and its stylish, minimalist design and impressive performance return made it a quick favourite of the skateboarding community.
It was a collaboration in 2006 with Supreme that put the Nike SB Blazer on the map, with three colorways in White, Red and Black showcasing the model in a quilted design. Later on in 2017, Virgil Abloh introduced the 'Off White' colorway on the silhouette as part of 'The 10' collection, further cementing the Nike SB Blazer in fashion history. The Nike SB Blazer is a great option for skateboarders and other athletes who want to experience both performance and comfort. With a firm grip designed to give greater control and a better board feel, the model provides soft cushioning and a flexible sole to offer arch and ankle support when riding.
Thanks to the double foxing tape on the vulcanised sole, the model has stayed consistently durable despite a number of design changes over the years. A mid-top version of the silhouette was introduced later to provide greater ankle support and safety for skaters performing high-impact tricks.
