Loved since its creation in 2004, French brand VEJA has found immense popularity both inside and outside of Europe.
Originally founded by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion, the brand's focus is on sustainability.
Materials are sourced from all around the world, and are processed in eco-friendly ways within popular models including the VEJA V-10, V-12, and Campo.
Founders Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion were already searching for suitable, ecological materials before the release of the first VEJA sneaker.
It was after the pair traveled to northern Brazil and struck up conversations with local rubber tappers that the source of their sustainable materials began to fall into place.
The contacts made while they were traveling became incredibly valuable, and laid the foundation for the brand's sustainable production process.
It was in 2006 when VEJA's first collection was presented in Paris, in collaboration with Fresh designer Agnès b.
The brand quickly gained momentum, and in recent years, VEJA has collaborated with designers such as Rick Owens, Marni, Emir Shiro and Make My Lemonade.
