Introducing FILA
Founded in 1911 in Biella, Italy, FILA transitioned from a textile company into a globally recognised sportswear brand by the 1970s.
The launch of the iconic ‘F-box’ logo and the success of the vibrant ‘White Line’ tennis collection, backed by tennis legend Björn Borg, secured its place on the world stage.
In 1994, FILA entered the basketball scene with Grant Hill, whose signature sneaker became a cultural staple, further amplified by its presence in 80s and 90s hip-hop, worn by artists like LL Cool J, Run DMC, and Tupac Shakur.
Riding the resurgence of 90s nostalgia in the 2010s, FILA successfully reinvented itself as a retro-heritage brand with contemporary streetwear appeal. Today, it’s known for its bold, chunky silhouettes, such as the FILA Disruptor, which highlight its blend of classic sport style and modern fashion.
