Shades of blue and white throughout the upper, combined with white and a metallic leather on the sneaker’s heel. In terms of materials, a combination of full grain leather, Wolverine pigskin suede and patent leather is employed, giving the shoe a nice premium feel. The Extra Butter team is known for its attention to detail, so we also have a custom graphic tongue label and insole, reflective red accents inspired by taillights, and checkerboard accent laces. The custom graphics box also follows the “Nite at the Drive-In” theme. Given the superior end product here, it will be interesting to see if other brands follow suit and invite trainer fans to vote on aesthetic choices.
