Bookending a half-decade of hits, Saucony opens the vaults to reissue one of their most revered collaborations. Originally released in collaboration with Boston's Bodega, both pairs in this double pack of 5000s have a lot in common: premium leathers and sumptuous suedes sitting atop cream and gum sole units. Distinguishing the two pairs is the use of strong monotone make-ups – a timeless palette of regal blue and patriotic red, often regarded as the definitive American colours. As a finishing touch and a knowing nod to Saucony's heritage, the introduction of the Elite Pack saw the revival of the brand’s winged shoe mark, as seen here on the 5000's tongue label.
