The NIKE X UNION CORTEZ continue their footwear run at the Swoosh, this time digging a little further into the archive to take on a bonafide Beaverton classic. The Cortez was first released in 1972 and is seen as a pivotal model for Nike’s success. A laidback runner with a streamlined shape, UNION updates the shape slightly with a bolstered toe and a mix of suede and colourful textiles across the upper. Union’s UN/LA tags and the Frontman logo both make an appearance, with Nike’s sustainable Crater Foam midsole taking shape underfoot.
