Air Max Day 2019 is set to see the return of the Air Max Light 2, courtesy of atmos creative director, Hirofumi Kojima. Never afraid to push the boundaries, this bold and brave take on the running design features a bright arrangement of patchwork panels, each referencing vintage Nike Sportswear apparel. Further details include transparent overlays, a bright red Air unit and matching Swoosh branding on the medial sides. The drop also includes an apparel capsule consisting of track jackets and pants; ’90s inspired graphic tees and long sleeves; plus a cap and bag that replicate the shoe’s chaotic patchwork print. As always, atmos continues to have us all expecting the unexpected – and this release is no exception.
