The Nike Air Rift first dropped in 1996, inspired by the efficient barefoot style of Kenyan distance runners. In recognition of these superior athletes, the shoe debuted in the colours of the aforementioned country’s flag and took its name from Kenya’s Rift Valley province. An all-terrain shoe designed with Kenya’s rugged environment in mind; it features a partially-detached toe and pared-down sole unit for a smooth and supportive ride. This women exclusive follows recent monochrome and patterned drops with a balanced duo of colourways: muted Grey and a more colourful mix of Blue Fury, Flash Crimson and Black.
