For this special edition of the skate-enhanced SB Dunk, Nike has enlisted the Boston guys for a very detailed and unique collaboration project that references Turducken: a Thanksgiving staple dish often associated with former NFL commentator John Madden. Utilising the plumage of the mallard duck as a design cue, the textures and colours are truly something to behold. Furry tan quarter panels, brown suede overlays, and the orange treading are all inspired by the water bird, with ‘Nike Duck Pro’ on the tongues and custom Concepts branding just to make it crystal clear who’s behind this memorable (and bizarre) edition of the SB Dunk.
