Nike Flyknit Racer Little Red

Fans of The Swoosh’s popular lightweight, unisex racer have been spoiled for choice recently, as we’ve seen a plethora of colourways ranging from all white, all black, red, mango and green – all in the last month or so – but the NIKE FLYKNIT RACER ‘LITTLE RED’ is an interesting addition, as the pop of contrasting bright red is delivered mostly in the midsole. Let’s start with the upper; the Wolf Grey colourway seems the fabric speckled with Pure Platinum and other tonal shades of grey, as well as a white Swoosh. It’s down below where Nike has switched things up, opting for a vibrant Ted Red midsole, creating a stripe effect that really stands out. We’ve seen tonal colours used in this silhouette’s midsole before but never such a contrasting one. The effect is amplified as it’s sandwiched on top of of the white section of the sole. The same hue of red can also be found in the ‘FLYKNIT RACER’ label on the tongue, tying it all together.
