Nike Air Shake NDESTRUKT

The return of the NIKE AIR SHAKE NDESTRUKT – a basketball trainer worn by Dennis “The Worm” Rodman during the Chicago Bull’s mid-’90s championship run. A few months ago, rumours of a return from the Nike Air Shake NDestrukt were circulating, but it seems the long-lost basketball trainer will finally make a return from the archives. An underrated and innovative model, it was developed by Eric Avar in the early ‘90s and featured what was, at the time, a way-out lacing system that, appearing on the medial side, alongside a leather shroud and securing Velcro strap. Worn by Rodman during the Chicago Bulls’ glowing championship run, the re-release seems more compact than the OG model but retains the strap closure. Constructed of tumbled leather, the sizeable Swoosh holds no prisoners and is complemented with a prominently embroidered basketball graphic on the heel.
