The 20th anniversary of the original Air Max Plus reached far and wide, inspiring a new generation of footwear fanatics to dig deep into the TN archives, further encouraged by Nike’s resurrection of the Air Max Plus III. The third instalment of the series features resized Air Max technology, encased within an aerodynamic heel panel that takes up the majority of the back section of the shoe. The midfoot and forefoot revise the vertical plastic overlays from the original design and swap them for horizontal capillaries. The front Air Max units sit in the usual place within the midsole, whilst the branding gets an update with toebox text and the classic yellow TN badge.
