The NIKE AIR MAX 96 II MYSTIC TEAL continues the retro run of one of the unsung heroes of the mid-’90s Air Max era. Whilst the previous year’s Air Max 95 had set incredible new standards in innovative design (courtesy of Nike designer Sergio Lozano), this was no shoddy follow-up. 1996 saw two Air Max designs drop, and the return of the second model has been greeted warmly by those who recall the original release all those years ago.
