In 2002 Nike and atmos collaborated on the Air Max 1 Safari, which went on to become one of the most sought after versions of the model. Fast forward 14 years and now we get a first look at a new Air Max 1 in the iconic colourway. This retro release is not quite true to the original though, as there are three notable changes. The first of these is the change of material on the forefoot underlay, which has been switched from a textile to a hairier alternative, the second is the lining, which also gets a slightly fluffier update and the third and final change is the switch from a gum outsole to an icy one.
Note: Further stockists to be added once confirmed.
