The NIKE AIR MAX 1 86 BIG BUBBLE or ‘Big Window’ was a sort of prototype of Tinker Hatfield’s pioneering silhouette which was released in 1987, The Big Bubble was part of the original 1986 production run and featured prominently larger Air bubbles as well as a stark white midsole. This re-issue replicates the original construction, colour blocking and varied components in the Air Max 1’s OG famed white and red colourway. We’ve been patiently waiting since early 2022 for this one so the clock is ticking down. Recent updates have also confirmed it will be available in kids sizing.
