Drawing inspiration from the Japanese Rising Sun flag and a women’s shoe design from the 19th century, the Air Jordan 12 took the flag’s rays and placed them on the 12’s upper, providing the iconic and sleek aesthetic they’re now known for. Remaining as legendary as ever, the hoops shoe is set to return in a “reversed Taxi” colourway which provides a simple upper consisting of black nubuck and leather, whilst gold accents and red branding provide the retro feel we know and love.
