Nike AIR JORDAN 12 Retro Chinese New Year

Jordan Brand recently revealed the Nike AIR JORDAN 12 ‘CHINESE NEW YEAR’, which takes its inspiration from the revered ‘Taxi’ colourway. We last saw a retro ‘Taxi’ back in 2013, so we don’t expect another one soon, but how does the ‘Chinese New Year’ stack up in the meantime? It’s actually a fairly faithful homage to the classic, as the upper is clad in white leather with black on the outsole, mudguard, inner liner and heel. Jordan’s jersey number, ’23’, is found on the heel and Varsity Red accents on the outsole.
