On Dec 10, 1984 American magazine Sports Illustrated put Michael Jordan on the cover of the issue, an image that shows him attacking the rim passing by 3 helpless defenders from the Milwaukee Bucks, title “A STAR IS BORN”. Almost 35 years later, Jordan Brand honors the cover with an Air Jordan 1 High colorway. The white and black silhouette features the vibrant colors of the Bucks’ jerseys on the Swoosh with red detailing as an homage to the Chicago Bulls. The flaps on the sides read “A Star is Born” and “Dec 10, 1984.
