Ever since Aimé Leon Dore’s own Teddy Santis was announced creative director of New Balance's premium Made in USA sub-line, sneakerheads have been patiently waiting in anticipation of the next drop – and this line-up of the sportswear brand’s 990’s does not disappoint. This pair are crafted with mesh uppers, then overlaid with hits of premium leather and suede that stay true to the original design. The ENCAP cushioned sole unit, however is detailed with a slightly yellowed ‘incense’ colourway that provides a lived-in, vintage look, while branding at the tongue, heel and side wall signs off the look.
