London-based brand Aries is about to unleash two colourful takes on the New Balance 991 centred around an “Unbalanced” theme, chosen by creative director Sofia Prantera as a reflection of sportswear’s unpredictable nature and its dominance over our everyday wardrobe, but also how flawlessly it could be applied as one of Aries’s playful graphics. The 991 is transformed in a choice of white, silver and yellow or a boldly hitting neon green colourways which each feature Aries branding towards the back heel. The footwear duo will also be accompanied by a small apparel capsule featuring dual-branded tees, sweats and socks.
