Taking place a few months earlier than previous years, celebrations kick-off at the beginning of September with two updated versions of the 997 silhouette. The first of the duo, the MADE 997, features the typical suede construction, panel work, and sole units, but in a new twist the classic ‘N’ logo on the medial and lateral sides is replaced with the familiar embroidered ‘New Balance Made In USA’ lettering usually seen elsewhere on the shoe. The other pair in this pack, the MADE 997S, keeps things fairly straight-forward on the upper section, but spices things up with the addition of the ENCAP REVEAL sole unit underneath.
