The NEW BALANCE 580 was originally released in 1996 as a Japanese exclusive based on the New Balance Made in USA 585. It was a slow burner on the popularity stakes, finally hitting US shelves in 2007. Fast forward 15 years and we’ve had collaborations from Stray Rats and Palace reigniting interest in the model, as well as slick GRs such as the Beef and Broccoli. Now New Balance is ready to further add to the pot with this forthcoming White, Nightwatch Green and Sea Salt drop that radiates with a classic collegiate feel.
