Takahiro turns his sights back to the Converse camp for a duo of Jack Purcell Zip Ox’s that take cues from the Seattle grunge scene. The shoe, named after Canadian badminton champ Jack Purcell, is transformed with a zip fastening surrounded by interweaving laces, whilst the canvas upper is decorated in a mix of stars and stripes. A vulcanized midsole and rubber toe cap with trademark “smile” complete the more traditional elements of the shoe before The Soloist leaves us a thought-provoking message underfoot. Available in a choice of Black and White or Garnet and White to reflect the American flag, the footwear will also be joined by a Hoodie and Packable T-shirt.
