Takahiro Miyashita’s TheSoloist has teamed up with Converse to provide one of their most chunky silhouettes with a blacked-out look. The rock-inspired design, with obvious cues to basketball, gives the high-top silhouette a premium look feeling with leather and suede on the upper, and leaving off the lacing, instead of adding a zipper. A “I AM THE SOLOIST” embroidery dons from the tongue while the translucent rubber outsole sees further graphics.
