Converse has teamed up with Ibn Jasper to honour NBA legend Julius “Dr J” Erving. Known for his relaxed and cool style of play, his reputation skyrocketed after he became the first player to dunk from the free-throw line. Inspired by a photo of Dr J walking into an arena wearing the Pro Leather with an all-white outfit, Ibn Jasper wanted to honour the mid-top court icon by bringing back the shoe in the same laidback style as exuded by the Philadelphia 76ers legend. Keeping the shoe as clean as Dr J’s photographed outfit, the upper is constructed from white leather with golden detailing on the zip tongue closure providing a luxurious twist.
