It’s not wise to upset a Wookiee, so adidas really aimed for realism when honouring Chewbacca for its latest collaboration with Lucasfilm, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back’s release. Although not quite as tall as the Rebel co-pilot himself, this Rivalry Hi’s profile certainly looks like him, combining tonal brown leathers and tufts of faux fur across the upper. Diagonal utility belt strapping adds an extra novelty touch (and prepares you for run-ins with stormtroopers) and it’s completed with the model’s signature court-ready rubber sole.
