Translucent eyelet cages and mesh add layers of depth to this exquisite piece of footwear. The usual branding is omitted, instead opting for a clean minimal look which follows the classic ceramicist approach: a simple Meissen stamp nods to the traditional marker’s mark found on the bases of finely-crafted ceramics. In celebration of this partnership, a 1-of-1 ZX 8000 crafted in porcelain and premium leather, dressed with hand-painted floral graphics, will be auctioned at Sotheby’s in New York City on the 16th December.
