Alexander wang continues his partnership with the Three Stripes this summer, this time redefining the footwear design rulebook with the forthcoming “Turnout Trainer.” Doing exactly what it says on the tin, the heavyset silhouette’s upper features a mixture of nylon, leather, and suede fabrications in a vintage-inspired colour palette of Core Black and Bold Orange or Light Brown and Chalk White, with tell-tale elements of Wang’s previous collaborations seen across it’s construction, including the upside-down Trefoil logo. The defining element, however, is the barcode and sampling information, which is turned inside out to appear exposed across the toebox and tongue.
