The adidas Consortium World Tour lands in Milan, with Slam Jam selecting the Tubular Nova. First released in 2016, Slam Jam have deliberately distressed and aged the silhouette; toying with the principles of the Originals line. From a distance, the light colourway sits slickly alongside other clean, contemporary models, but closer inspection reveals the frayed traditional muslin and creased premium leather, giving the shoe age. Unafraid to be flaunting, the shoe’s heel strap roars their name in block capitals.
