ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X NAKED – ULTRA BOOST & SAMBA – 23 DEC 2016

The Danes have taken two diverse styles, the Samba and UltraBOOST, for the their first collaboration with adidas. They have washed both silhouettes in aquatic blues, the label’s signature colour palette, which takes its inspiration from the ocean. The Samba, for instance, has been updated with a light aqua-coloured ostrich leather upper that is contrasted with white 3-Stripes branding and accents on the heel, all of which sit on top of a old school gum outsole. The UltraBOOST model also sports the aqua blue look on its woolen Primeknit upper and cage, as well as the continental rubber outsole, with a white boost midsole sandwiched in between. Both the Samba and UltraBOOST are rounded off with slim cotton laces that are tonal blue in colour, with adidas and NAKED logos embossed on the tongues.
