Meeting again for the first time since 2016, Tokyo-based retailer and powerhouse mita return to work with the Three Stripes, this time assisting them to introduce a face into the NMD line-up, the NMD TS1 PKI. A souped-up sock-fit model, it shares a similar aesthetic to the CS1 but differentiates its look with a lower cut collar, finished with branded pulls to both the heel and exposed tongue. The brand new option is joined by a failsafe classic, the STAN SMITH, which appears in black leather uppers printed with the midfoot hosting the model’s name, whilst the back heel sports tech specifications in a contrasting white print, which on a closer inspection turn out to be the coordinates of mita’s Tokyo store and the Three Stripes HQ in Germany.
