STUDIO ALCH AW20 COLLECTION

The STUDIO ALCH AW20 COLLECTION aims to minimise environmental impacts through design techniques…

Founded by Australian designer, Alexandra Hackett, the now London-based label has worked closely with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Jorja Smith, Stormzy and Dave, whilst also collaborating with Patta and Nike. For the AW20 Collection, the technical brand has aimed to bring a series of garments with sustainability at the heart of design. Particular pieces include waste-reducing functions such as removable and packable carrier bags that can be used repeatedly to reduce plastic bag usage. All of the garments are produced entirely from recycled, organic or excess deadstock materials, with the nylon from 100% recycled filaments and jersey styles have been produced in Tencel- a compostable and biodegradable fiber. The whole range draws inspiration from military-inspired silhouettes staying true to the sportswear aesthetic the label is known for.
