SAUCONY X SOLEBOX THE GREEN LUCANID SHADOW 5000 – 7.6.14

The first part of this bangin’ Saucony release came out last year – and the second half looks just as good. The SAUCONY X SOLEBOX GREEN LUCANID SHADOW 5000 takes last year’s orange accenting and gives it a sweet grass-green flip.

A superb mix of leather, suede and breathable mesh, the devil’s in the detail, with some fine 3M application – and the aforementioned green showing on the interiors, top laceholes and tongue detailing. The speckled midsole is rumoured to show up when UV light hits it (sunlight, to you and I), which is a nice touch – and certainly a step up from the usual glow-in-the-dark tricks we’ve seen in recent years. Hikmet and the Solebox crew have always come through with great collaborations, and this is no exception at all. Saucony have grabbed the crown of the collaboration movement in 2014 – and run with it.
