Summer Wardrobe Sorted: the PUMA x Careaux SS17 Collection

For their second collaboration, the PUMA x CAREAUX SS17 COLLECTION sees the Dutch artist’s vivid blue and aqua artworks take shape across both apparel and footwear.

After rolling out a successful debut collaboration in AW16, Puma reignites their relationship with self-confessed sneakerhead and artworker Caroll Lynn, aka Careaux. Inspired by her travels throughout Asia, Lynn incorporates the classic Japanese cloud motif with aqua and blue led versions of her signature triangular designs, which effortlessly fuse together over PUMA footwear and Japanese-inspired sports-focused apparel.

The collection progresses from last season’s pastels into mellow blue hues, which are applied across some of the most heralded sneaker styles from Puma’s extensive catalogue. The versatile PUMA X CAREAUX BASKET gets an all-over print makeover, whilst the velcro-fastening PUMA X CAREAUX BASKET STRAP is rendered in three premium suede colourways: sandy off-white, baby blue and black. The PUMA X CAREAUX B.O.G. SOCK then adds a sports injection, with blue, cream and grey offerings taking place across the Trinomic shoe.

The apparel goes hand in hand with the footwear options, comprising of the stand out PUMA X CAREAUX BOMBER JACKET, plus cropped tees, boyfriend-fit shorts, and a boxy-fit styled dress crafted in premium lightweight materials. A baseball hat and bucket bag are like the cherry on the Careaux cake, blending statement design details with functionality.

All pieces are signed off with Careaux’s signature rose applied in gold foil, accompanied by dual branding from PUMA, creating a pinnacle in summer holiday capsule wardrobes.
