PUMA Shadow Society Launch Party Round-Up

We previewed the footwear from the forthcoming PUMA Shadow Society Collection a week or two back and last Thursday saw the product launch with an evening of excellent hospitality over the two floors of the Blackall Studios in London’s Shoreditch.

PUMA have always been good hosts and the Shadow Society brings with it a crowd who share a likeminded view of the brand and its heritage. That, along with getting to see the premium product on its first outing made for an evening that was well worth the fare. The first half concentrated on the collection and downstairs was akin to an underground den, lined with shoeboxes, a DJ booth and comfy leather sofas.

Here you got to see the product in more detail, chat with some of those involved, relace the shoes and try them on after being teased through the glass of the display cases upstairs. And great product it is too.

As well as the footwear (we’ll have our review of the R698 up shortly) there’s a range of Apparel, including a very impressive backpack and the attention to detail is what we now know to expect from those that have a hand in the project.

With the well stocked bar of trusty cocktails and Red Stripe, it wasn’t long before the second part of the evening kicked off. The venue quickly began to fill up, as those lucky enough to hear the shout-out about the night opening to the public after 20:30, started to arrive. The volume increased and soon the basement was on one and as always, it was great to see such a sweet selection of footwear on show on peoples feet.

A couple of hours in and downstairs was packed, whilst upstairs gave you a nice change of surroundings to chat at normal volume, grab a hot dog (nice work) and check out some of the other product on display.

Great night all round, Thanks to PUMA, their trusted PR team and the ever-so-secret Shadow Society. Nice work.

The collection will drop this coming Saturday, 24th November 2012 with select UK stockists and we’ll have all the details up on our RELEASES page in the next couple of days but for now, check out the Video Round-Up below, then scroll through a few shots of some of the product on show from the evening…
