PUMA, with the help of the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, have introduced their latest running shoe called the PUMA IGNITE.
Starting from the top, the upper features a perforated mesh with overlays of a newly-engineered polyurethane plastic which aids stability in conjunction with a heel counter. The EVA commonly found in midsoles has also been replaced by polyurethane in the form of a responsive foam – this is being dubbed IGNITE – which, in time, will be incorporated in other exciting models in the brand’s performance range. The first release will come in this eye-popping combination of purple and orange: a colour scheme that always works really well together.
The PUMA IGNITE is already being used by Usain Bolt during his training sessions and if you want the chance to wear the same training shoes as the world’s fastest man, they’ll be available sometime in March. We will have all the info up on our RELEASE PAGE closer to the time, so keep checking back.
