ONITSUKA TIGER X END COLORADO 85 BLUEBIRD – A DETAILED LOOK

We gave you a first heads-up on the ONITSUKA TIGER X END COLORADO 85 BLUEBIRD over here a few days ago – but now we can give you a more detailed look.

As a point of inspiration, the bluebird is quite an impressive one. Their feathers include tiny pockets of air that transforms the light when it hits them and only allows the blue light to escape, giving them a truly striking appearance. This gave END the idea for a tonal blue upper, with 3M detailing, which (like the bird’s feathers) plays with light on the formstripe, embossed heel panel and rope laces. Perforated panels add a touch of class, whilst an embossed white feather gives this release an unusual finishing touch and a nod to the birds that inspired it. The special packaging that you can see in the above picture will be available in very limited quantities at the launch party that is being held at their store on THURSDAY 5 MARCH.
