The NIKELAB ACG LUPINEK FLYKNIT is the most advanced boot to ever be released by the recently-revived subsidiary.
The new silhouette has clear Flyknit Chukka Trainer DNA, but is given a higher cut and a more sturdy aesthetic. The FLYKNIT upper rests under a sturdy no-sew mudguard, with triangular studs that give the shoe a somewhat sinister look. The higher cut is provided by memory foam ankle collars which provide support and comfort that exceeds any previous release, whilst Flywire keeps your feet in place. For the introductory release, there will be a duo of colourways to choose from, a white and black version or the more stealthy choice of all-black. Both pairs are rounded off with gold ACG branding on the tongue and grey on the heel tabs. Lots of people were happy to see the return of ACG earlier this year: it’s not quite the same as the brand we remember, but we’re looking forward to seeing what else is yet to come…
