Turn on and tune in: the Nike Tuned 1 Ultra Arrives in Orange and Black

The NIKE TUNED 1 ULTRA finds one of our favourites getting a clean one-colour dip and lightweight Ultra construction just in time for summer.

The TN, the Tuned 1, the Air Max Plus… Whatever you like to call it, there’s no denying that this shoe made an impact when it first dropped. And what’s more, that same impact is being felt twenty years on. The curvaceous shape of the Tuned 1 gives a feeling of speed with the contours of the midsole providing a solid foundation underneath. Updating the Tuned 1 with Ultra technology has to be one of the most successful transitions to date: the inner-sleeve construction features TPU overlays for a supportive, sock-like fit, with some new details, such as the heel tab and tongue loop. The return of the Tuned 1/TN/Plus’s popularity during its anniversary year means that premium editions such as this will definitely find a whole host of fans.
