Nike SFAF-1 – Nike Special Field Air Force 1 – A First Look

The Nike SFAF-1 – AKA the Nike Special Field Air Force 1 – touches down shortly, much to the delight of all who are waiting in anticipation of the winter months.

A new take on the classic Air Force 1 high, this new all-terrain boot looks more than able to handle the elements this season. Designed by Nike Sportswear designer Ben Kirschner, the SF-AF1 design is inspired by military work-wear, utilising durable and appropriate materials such as ballistic nylon with tough leather details. Two colourways are dropping in men’s sizing – olive and black – with another two – light beige/hazelnut and light bone – for the ladies. An accompanying bag matches the footwear perfectly, with ballistic nylon and rugged detailing to ensure a long lasting finish. Meteorologists might be predicting a harsh winter, but it looks like the Nike team have got us well covered.
